The Fixit Crew is back! by Keith and Grant

There were 2 chairs in need. They had been sitting there in need of help, and help had come. There were 2 kids seeking the chairs and wanting to fix them. So that day they took in the chairs and there they sat there for a few days. Under constant thinking ,tinkering, and work, they would soon find out they could fix the chairs. They put in square screws and philips screws tightened and loosened screws, all until... it had not worked. So they tried again. They put in square screws and philips screws tightened and loosened screws, all until... it all finished! Then the chairs  found their place at home in room 143. Home Sweet Home!

native american projects

We are working on our Native American artifacts for our Southeast Native American museum exhibit.  We researched about the food, tools, shelter, and clothing of the Southeast Native Americans to understand how they lived.  We're learning the where you live affects how you live.  Each 4th grade class has a different Native American region.  We'll view the exhibits from all the regions to understand how they're the same and different.

Van Gogh's Bedroom Artwork by Ashlyn

In art class we have been working on Van Gogh's bedroom! Our process has taken about 4 weeks to create this piece of artwork. Everybody was excited to start our art project! On week 1,we started to do our outline of the bedroom in Sharpie. We  didn't want to make a mistake! Week 2 was more exciting because we got to start to paint our walls and carpet . We worked very hard to not make mistakes! Week 3 we started to paint our furniture and decorations. On week 4,  finally we finished painting and started to do our Sharpie outline again to make the artwork pop out! While we were walking down the hallway yesterday,we saw our artwork hung up on the wall! We all crowded around and looked for our art and gave compliments to our classmates! We are all so proud of our artwork we created!
