First Mission....Accomplished!

The D.B.I. agents completed their first successful team mission!  We talked about what makes good agents, and we got to put all of it into practice with this Breakout EDU mission!  Mrs. Wasik, our Advanced Learning Facilitator designed a series of clues for us which were connected to the book, Oh the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss.  Our class was broken into 5 groups.  Each group worked together as a team to solve 5 different clues. Evidence was gathered, codes were deciphered, flashlights uncovered secret letters marked in invisible ink that led to an answer, and hidden keys were found.  Each clue led to a code or key that would unlock a box that contained the next clue.  I was so impressed with the way the kids worked together as a group, listened to each other, persevered when they struggled with the solution, and fairly divided the tasks between group members.  What a great start to the year!

Thanks Mrs. Wasik!
